Michael is a Product Manager at Google where he has worked for over 15 years. He is currently a product lead for Google Maps, managing development teams in Tokyo as well as in the US and Australia. Michael was born and raised in the USA- but has also lived in Spain, Turkey, and also spent 10 years in China before coming to Japan in 2019.

Despite snowboarding since he was young, Michael only learned about surfing in 2016 while on a work trip to Indonesia. Maps then led him to Hyuga in 2019 where he was greeted with pristine nature and welcoming local surfers- so he decided to move here and tele-work early in 2020. He enjoys longboarding, shortboarding, and everything in between- always at Okuragahama.

アメリカ出身。幼少期よりスノーボードを愛好し、2016年にインドネシアでサーフィンと出会う。

Google社での勤務のため、2019年に日本に移住。日向の自然、温かいローカルサーファー達と出会い、2020年から日向市に居を構え、リモートワークをしている。現在、Google Map の東京、アメリカ、オーストラリアの開発チームを率いている。
